This sub-series contains materials and information related to local, state, and federal political matters, politicians, and political groups including Armistead L. Boothe, the Stant-Whitehurst election of 1968, Pat Robertson, and the Airlie Group. It includes newspaper clippings from local papers such as The Virginian-Pilot, The Virginian Gazette, and the Norfolk Virginian along with Rutyna’s research on the Airlie Group and correspondence with people who were associated with the group.
