Biographical or Historical Information

Charles Sibley came to the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary as an art professor in 1955. He later served as the chair of the Department of Art for 10 years before retiring from Old Dominion University in 1980.

The collection was given to the Art Library Supervisor in 2017 from an Art Department faculty member and was transferred to Special Collections and University Archives in 2017.
